Is it possible to hear your own voice through the ps3 usb microphone?
There is a feature on the ps3 that allows you to change your voice and i wanted to know if it is possible to hear your own voice from the microphone with that voice change while playing online? ok this isnt a puberty thing. ok so wen i b-box or sing or do accent. my voice never changes. it sounds the same all the time. maybe if i take a punch to the jugular or something? or are there was to sound differentbwithout having a vocal teacher, do it jus by urself? and i dont have alot of privacy so i cant exactly yell all the time|||I swear japanese music changes your voice by FAR.

Exaggerate what you are saying.. the syllable. Open the mouth slightly wider, speak a touch louder, even raise the pitch (Which all has to do with our vocal chords vibrating). At first it feels odd doing this, but over time it becomes habit and there becomes a mix of our old %26#039;mumbling self%26#039; and the exaggeration self -- The new proper speech isn%26#039;t either one, but a nice mix between the two.
With your vocal chords thing of two flaps together. As the pressure from your wind pipe builds up the two flaps open producing a sound. This opening of the flap (chords) is one cycle. The higher the pitch is the faster the cycles, ie: More pressure. Think of singing in this analogy.
Along the same lines you can strengthen this process, and they can weaken from lack or improper use.

Probably very fast. It%26#039;s possible that they may have added some other effects, (I was thinking of Chorus in Garageband, and maybe playing the altered voice on top of the normal version of the voice) but most likely in my opinion it%26#039;s just a Flanger. You can mess around with it and see if you find a setting that works for you.

1. Call your voicemail
2. Press 3
3. Press 2
4. Press 1
5. Press 1
6. After the tone record your message then press #

The timbre and pitch of your voice is determined by the shape and size of your vocal chords, the size of your voice box, and the structure of your face. Without surgery, you can%26#039;t change any of that. However, these things will change as you get older, and I%26#039;m assuming you%26#039;re pretty young, so just wait it out. There are way more things to worry about than having what you think is a weird voice.

Keep at it, and when you can mimic them, try a different person.
