you need to learn how to adapt with this new tone.
you have the technique from previous singing, but now its about finding different pitches and levels of your voice that fit with your deep voice now.
practice different ways of singing songs, get a voice teacher they will surely helP1How to wash a black comforter howtogetevenwithyourex

Is my voice really that bad?
i love music and i like to sing too. and i've always thought i was passable. i mean, i dont get up and sing in front of people but i never thought i was terrible. but the other day i recorded a video on facebook just doing a silly music video kind of thing and when i played it up i sounded terrible. not how i thought i sounded at all. and now i'm kinda self conscious about it and wondering if i've been sucking all my life and just not known it. does making webcam videos change your voice around or do i sound different in my head than i actually sound to other people?
Is my voice really that bad?
Studys have shown that peoples voices do actually sound different to themselves rather than other people. So, to yourself, your voices sounds different to what everyone else is hearing
Congratulations, you've heard your real voice for the first time

Well of course webcam videos have horrible recording sounds but that doesn't matter. Have you been singing to songs all the time because you might mix up your voice with the singer's.
Both. Unless you get a crazy good recording system, your voice is going to sound different that what it actually is, and usually for the worse. And our voices always sound great to us, even if they don't to other people. If you're self-conscious, either find a really good, honest friend and ask for their opinion, or start to take some voice lessons or practice with a piano; you don't have to be serious to the point where you want to sound like the next American Idol, but enough so that you can sing along to a song around some people without sounding or feeling terrible.
Well u need to upload your singin video to youtube or somethin. We can't tell nothin about your voice without hearin it.
But yeah, u do sound different to yourself when u play back a recording than u do when u are actually talkin or singin live. But whether u suck or just think u suck I can't tell without hearin u.
When you sing you're not hearing how you really sound. this is because when you sing you are hearing yourself through your bone and not through your actual ears. You're getting self-concious now because you were shocked at how different your real voice is from how you thought you sounded. So, yes you do sound different to yourself than you sound to other people. Though the fact that it was on a webcam could have altered you voice a bit. Get yourself some kind of audio recorder and get used to hearing your real voice so you can move forward.
Depending on the quality of the camera it will sound different trust. I am in singing and then my voice sounded weird a little but we went into a recording studio with professional recording system it sounded fine no tapering lol yeah it will sound different NOT A LOT but different

Impressions of Famous People? Voice impersonations?
Hello,
I'm a 16 year old male who has recently gotten into doing voice impressions/impersonations. i.e. sounding like someone else (usually famous but really anybody).
Now, I've read a bunch of people saying that you should dress like them, use the same hand motions and try the same face motions/looks, but I'm talking specifically about voices here.
I just want information on changing your voice to sound like someone. Now, I know in the end it just takes practice. But I mean, what specifically can you work on to help. I'm sure I have a good vocal range, but I need to work on control and mastery over my pitch, tone, and whatever else is needed.
Can anyone offer up any advice on how specifically to change the sound of your voice (pitch, tone, diction, etc...) to sound like anyone else?
Thanks!

Does this person have any bodily features, like a hunchback? If so, try doing that. Pretend that you ARE the character. That way, you feel everything differently.

Helium Vs. Voice?!?!?!?!?
How and Why does Helium change your voice.
Is it bad to inhale Helium?
Helium Vs. Voice?!?!?!?!?
helium gas is much less dense than the oxy/nitrogen we normally breath and it allows the vocal chords to vibrate more quickly so your voice is pitched high,
Helium is not poisonous but when you breath it a couple of times you will have flushed all the oxygen from your system and will pass out. The body is signaled to breathe, by a higher concentration of CO2 in your blood, but after breathing helium or any other single gas, for that matter, the CO2 is flushed from your bloodstream so that when you pass out from lack of oxygen, your lungs do not get the impulse to start breathing again and you will die.
That's why it is dangerous, particularly for children.
Helium Vs. Voice?!?!?!?!?
Instead of inhaling oxygen, you are inhaling much more of another gas than you ever normally would. This just happens to be a sideaffect of breathing it in. Too much of anything is poisonous to you, and you should never breathe in too much helium, to the point where it is generally suggested not to do it.
Helium is less dense than the air . The voice box filled with helium allows the %26quot;strings%26quot; in the larynx to have less tension on them, therefore, making a different tone.

What is it like to get your tonsils out?
I have to get a tonsilectimy soon (in about 2 weeks). I'm kind of afraid that it will hurt a lot. Or that my voice will sound really different when I get my tonisls and adnoid out. What generally happens when you get your tonsils removed? How long does it take to recover? And how much does your voice change? (I'm a singer, so this concerns me especially.) Thanks!
What is it like to get your tonsils out?
Mine are still in.. and hubby removed his own:
when he was a little kid, he put his mouth over the spout of a steaming teapot, and yep - steamed them clear off! Doctors said he was lucky, as that was all he did. Ate ice cream, popsicles, and was actually f.i.n.e.
You'll be fine as well luv. It is said that it takes adults a bit longer to heal than it does for kids. You'll feel sore, but follow what they tell you to do, down to the last letter. If a kid can do it, so can you %26lt;winks%26gt;.
What sort of music do you sing?
What is it like to get your tonsils out?
Well obviously it will hurt a bit. But to be honest as for all your other concerns. There should be no variation in those.
Had mine out years ago. But know someone who had it done recently. Was in and out of hospital quickly. Back to work with in a week.
What you're going to have is a T%26amp;A - tonsillectomy %26amp; adenoidectomy. During the procedure you will be anesthetized, asleep and will feel nothing. Afterwards, when the anesthesia wears off, you will be in pain. You will be given a prescription for a pain med. Take it. You sound like you're at least a teenager so you should know that the older you are, the harder it is on you. A 2-3 week full recovery isn't abnormal for an older person. You will not want to swallow but it will important that you take clear liquids for the first few days and you may wish to follow a liquid diet for up to a week. Water, broth, jello, etc. Advance your diet to full liquids and then soft foods as tolerated. You'll be given postop instructions that include diet and care as well as precautions and when to have your postop follow up with your surgeon. Ice cream may be too painful at first. Bed rest, avoid bending and lifting. Expect some bleeding at first. With the surgical equipment available these days, bleeding is at a minimum if at all. You'll survive.
This procedure has nothing to do with the vocal cords.
Speaking from a perspective of having had my tonsils out some 40+ years ago, I would say yes, your throat will be sore at first. I think I missed about a week of school. I suspect that the doctors today can deal with the %26quot;discomfort%26quot; better than they did when I had my tonsilectomy. I doubt there will be much if any change to your voice, as the surgery is well above your vocal cords.
The other thing I remember is being promised ahead of time that I would be allowed to have all the icecream I wanted, but having no interest at first in eating anything, not even icecream. I think after about a week I was more or less back to normal.
You should discuss your concerns with your doctor. I am sure he or she can help you with them.
Your throat will be a bit sore for a few days. But I had noticably more energy within 2 days, (from getting those infected things out), so the soreness didn't really bother me after 2-3 days. Your voice shouldn't change at all. Just watch what you eat, no really salty or acidic foods. Some people loved ice cream, but the cold, made my throat hurt worse. You'll just need to check that on your own.name of italian what kind of snakes are
