How do I change my voice to sound like a Vocaloid?

Apparently, Sai Tonarine is the name taken by a Nicovideo user who modifies her voice to sound like a Vocaloid. I was wondering if anyone knows of a program that can change your voice to sound like a vocaloid or vocaloid-ish... If you don't know what they sound like, they sound like regular people but are actually vocal synthesizing programs specialized in singing. If you still don't know what they sound like, just look %26quot;vocaloid%26quot; up on Youtube and listen to one of their songs.

How do you change your voice like that? Tara Strong can do a ton of different things. And not just making my voice real deep, I mean like Timmy turner, bart simpson etc. I really want to do something cool with my voice.

If you live in a major city like Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago or New York you can find classes that teach voice over skills. Contact the theatre department at your local community college and one of the instructors can help you find good quality classes in voice over.

It's not something that can really be taught...you just do it. It happens mostly in your throat, though. Sorry - that probably isn't very helpful :).

Good question. What I try to do when I emulate a voice is to try and put myself in the mind frame of that person. The more you are able to think like that person and understand WHY they talk like that, the better you'll be able to figure out HOW to talk like that. On a more technical basis, it's a matter of raising or lowering the pitch of your voice (think singing) and breath control. Something as simple as not breathing out of your nose when you talk can give you a completely different sound.

ya just practice. I can sound like the singer for Motorhead, or Yoda, or cookie monster. LOL! Ya just need to practice, but if youre tryin to be a singer of your own accord, its best to be yourself. Otherwise yourll end up bein a tribute singer.
through exposure and experimentation with prototypes i can adjust my voice to sound like others, or completely different. it does take practise though
Try to breath differently while talking, it makes your voice sound different, now try this in different ways!

Adria, I can't help you with a %26quot;voice changer%26quot; but I can tell you that if you work on improving your singing voice you will be able to sing well, and you'll feel really great about your accomplishment. All it takes is working with the right exercises, and learning from a vocal coach that knows what he/she is doing. Anyone can have a better real, authentic voice, that is your own, not something mechanically altered, which doesn't sound real. Even though you may not know any good vocal coaches, or you may live in a smaller town or city where there are none, you can still get this kind of quality training. And what I'm talking about is learning to sing like you speak, which means, for most people, not an operatic voice, but your own natural voice. I recommend that you check out the websites of 3 top notch, in fact, these guys are at the top, of the field of %26quot;speech level singing%26quot;, and they are: Brett Manning, Roger Love, and Seth Riggs. If you want to learn to sing, learn from articles, CD's, books, and other training tools they've created, and I promise you that if you work at it, you'll not be disappointed.
It's true that sometimes even you have a great voice but the video/voice recorder sucks, they made your voice big or low..

I experience that, but I don't know the software for it.. Try to go to a music station and ask for help..
Go to a professional teacher so you can learn proper singing techniques .

A video will do little to help you sing .
