Can you change your voice?

you know on horror movies how weve all seen someone change their voice (with special effects ofcourse) to make it sound like more than one voice is coming from you at the same time.



Well after doing research and finding no results on the actual tutorial i figured id just ask here. Ive heard from several different sources that tibetan monks train their voices to do this but i really want to know how. (And going to Tibet is NOT an option) I know you must activate both sets of vocals at the same time but thats about it. can ya help me out guys?
