my voice is so retarded. it sounds like i have a cold all time, and people ask me %26quot;oh you have a cold%26quot; and im like %26quot;uhh,,no.%26quot; i got my altoids? tooken out i dont know wat t here called, but it sounds like that peppermint, and it was sopose to help,, but it didnt... and i cant pronounce the letter n correctly. wat can i do?

suck on some helium? that would change your voice but would also make people laugh at you so may not be what you are looking for. Sorry cant be much help but hope it made you laugh at least.

I assume you mean %26quot;adenoids%26quot;? I'd be going back to the doctor who recommended to you that you have them out and who evidently told you it would improve the tone of your voice to ask him why it hasn't happened. It probably also wouldn't hurt to have a couple of sessions with a speech therapist to see if you can work on pronouncing the letter %26quot;n%26quot; properly as I can't think of any reason why this should be connected to your adenoids. Failing all that, just accept it and learn to live with it - I'm a girl too with a REALLY deep voice (I sound like a guy on the phone and people are always thinking that I am one when they talk to me over the phone). I used to be paranoid about this but got over it after accepting that it's just who I am.
Pronounciate your words more try reading Shakespeare aloud that should help if not try doing voice exercises like my mommy mashes my m and ms
