For some reason, I've felt that my natural speaking voice, I just can't find it. I always feel it's to high and sometimes I can talk at a level I feel I like the best, that is the %26quot;most natural%26quot;. If I start off my morning with a somewhat high voice that's how it will be until I get more through my day and when it comes to a close it usually varies. Regularly I have a very deep voice, and I'm told so. I am unsure if people notice changes in your voice as much as you do? Is their a way I can find my natural speaking voice? It always feels kind of strange and off, like a decibel to high. (I have no idea how much a decibel is.) If I talk to someone I'm really chill with, I feel I reach this natural point. But I feel like It's hard to reach that any other time.

the %26quot;pitch%26quot; is something that as you noted drops during the day.
singers do exercises during the morning to %26quot;relax%26quot; %26amp; %26quot;train%26quot; their voice.
a decibel is a measurement between how loud one thing is compared to another.
i find that i tend to use my speaking voice on the phone %26amp; that really brings out the sound of my own voice to me.

your vocal cords need to be stretched like any other muscle(well the muscles that control them). When you get up in the morning do some humming and maybe some basic scales. you know, a a a a a a a a a
and increase, then decrease the pitch of each aaa. Once your voice is warmed up you should be good.

Is my voice getting deeper?
Im 13 (7th grade) and right now my throat is all stuffed up and i can barely talk with out making some scratchy sound. Im not sick cuz i have normal temp, no runny nose, feeling cold, etc. Also im thinking that my voice sounds different but im not sure. Is this what happened to you when your voice changed? Also how old were you?

If you just don't like the overall sound, it depends on what you don't like about it. There are some things you can fix (i.e. airy sound, too much vibrato etc) It's all about what exactly you want to change. But no worries, it more than likely can be done with training.

Ok the story goes like this... I was cruising youtube the other day and i came across this invention called %26quot;talk box%26quot;. From what i see you can change your voice by pressing the keys on a keyboard/ strumming the strings on a guitar. I have to admit this is pretty cool, and i want a talk box you can hook up to a keyboard. But i don't have a decent keyboard, so i'm hoping you can answer these questions for me- How much does a keyboard cost that allows me to use talk box? Where can i get one? How much does a talk box cost and where can i get one?

the very high end keyboards have similar effects built in and may be able to be controled from an external pedal...like a wah pedal but with the talk box effect...not sure if the keyboard outputs the right signal like a guitar does...so that is why you should go to a music store and ask them....ask them to try it out on a keyboard in the store.

I'm auditioning for a choir on tuesday, September 16th, and I need to try out for both the alto and soprano parts. I'm usually alto and I don't have a very high vocal range, but it is required that you sing both parts. I did some research online but it told me it could take around 3months to change your voice! How can I help myself learn to sing soprano well enough to be chosen? (If Helps any, i have to sing the first verse of Sing we and chant it)

and, even though Movie Maker no longer works for me anymore, I think I recall there being a freeze frame button somewhere, but I'm not sure. I think it was by the video preview.
If not, he probably uses Windows Media Player to make a freeze frame somehow. He could also just press print scr on his keyboard, and copy the image on to paint, and save the part he needs as an image, then put it on movie maker.
And the only way to make a chipmunk voice on movie maker is to speed it up. The same rule applies to making a deep voice. However, if you only want to change the pitch, and not the speed, there are various programs you could use.
If I only want to make audio high pitched, I use audicity. You can search it up on Yahoo or Google and download it completely free from the website.

Is there an audio effect I can use to make me sound like a girl?
Ok, so I'm going to record a verse for a rap song, and in that verse there is one line, that would sound way better if I could get a female voice saying it. I use Acid Music Studio 7.0 and I was wandering if there was some plug-in effect that you could download to change your voice. But also, it there's someway I could use pitch-shift, flangers, or software like that to do it, how do I do that.

1. Not at all. Avoid kissing while it's healing though - it is an open wound.
2. You can't really see it, but in order for it not to heal, it would have to be well established. You can buy acrylic retainers which are very discreet (wildcat.co.uk are the best).
3. Hardly at all; have had injections that were worse.
4. Vaguely sore for a day or two, minimal swelling.
5. Yes, but obviously your jewellery options would be limited.
6. Eating might be restricted at first, but only the first few days; as a rule, orals heal quickly. No change to your voice.
All you need in the way of aftercare is salt water soaks no more than twice a day, and clean off any crusties with a cotton bud. Non alcohol based mouthwash after yu eat (Oraldene is great).

1. Not at all. Avoid kissing while it's healing though - it is an open wound.
2. You can't really see it, but in order for it not to heal, it would have to be well established. You can buy acrylic retainers which are very discreet (wildcat.co.uk are the best).
3. Hardly at all; have had injections that were worse.
4. Vaguely sore for a day or two, minimal swelling.
5. Yes, but obviously your jewellery options would be limited.
6. Eating might be restricted at first, but only the first few days; as a rule, orals heal quickly. No change to your voice.
All you need in the way of aftercare is salt water soaks no more than twice a day, and clean off any crusties with a cotton bud. Non alcohol based mouthwash after yu eat (Oraldene is great).

I have always loved singing and people have always told me that I am good at it also, but I don't trust them... I've recorded myself and I sounded okay, but I have read that your are always deaf to your voice unless you use something professional. I am 14 so I don't know if it's puberty or what, so I really want to tame my voice before I get out of puberty because I also read after puberty you can't really change your voice. My family is all great singers, my mom, grandma's, grandpa, and my uncles and cousins. But my dad and sister aren't very good so, could I possibly have gotten his jeans and have a bad voice! Are there any exercises or other things to help me become better at singing, help me widen my range in notes? Please help me singing is my passion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lip thrill- for management of air in diaphragm
Scaling- for descending and ascending notes, good for shifting notes
Belting out- for projecting of power of natural's voice
then learn how to belt out w/ ur mouth and throat are open..
Practice a belting-out exercise to help you with diaphragmatic breathing, or even scaling will help you with that, lip thrill will be a help for diaphragmatic breathing..
And in reaching high notes, curve your shoulders, to control you note; close your eyes, to focus and addition a lil drama; lessen your effort, for it might produce a squeaky sound; add stress, the source of the pressure of your voice to reach those high notes..

This is my pitch for my game, Darkness.?
Ok, so this game will be survival horror, but like you have never seen. The game takes place in modern day, but something happens were Darkness overwhelms the earth. Therefore, the game will be dark. In addition, you will have limited visibility, not if you happen to have a lighter, or a torch. It will be third person, kind of like Resident evil 4, and 5, but more behind the character. And you will not be able to change the camera, only you can tilt your head different ways, with an analog stick. So you tilt it right you look right. The game will focus on three diff rent groups, a mother and son, a mechanic, and a brother and sister. They'll each be playable at points in the game. And each one will have diff rent attributes. Like the Little boy cannot lift a chainsaw, he can drag it to his mother, but not attack with it. However, the mother cannot crawl through a tiny hole in the wall. The game will have no menus, excluding when you start the game. And there will only be a pause button. You can play the game three diff rent ways. One is more strategy and less fighting. Like, should I just run through killing everything in my path, or, finding a chainsaw to cut down a tree to topple my enemies, or setting traps. Or a mixture of both, like a more time consuming, plan where you blow up a car. The game will allow you to get lost and eventually make you go insane. They'll be three different areas, for the characters. The brother and sister will have to travel through the woods. The mom and son will be on a highway, with countryside to explore. And the mechanic will have a city to go through. The camera system will let you to look up and hit flying, or jumping enemies. The graphics will be top notch, a mixture between hydrophobia, and Resident Evil 5. The characters will interact like you have never seen. The mom may be wondering, while the little kid may be tugging her shirt, or interacting with scenery. Or you may be told, %26quot;Hey look at this%26quot;. and there be certain times where there will be quick time events. like those found in Heavy rain. For instance, your walking, and your caught in a wolf trap. Will you pull it of by clicking the left and right triggers, or look around and fight nearby enemies, while connected. There will be several different endings depending on your actions like if you save something or treat someone a certain way. If you carry your kid, or just let him walk. Certain instances the game's camera will make it where you see your character from the front. Like if your being chased or, running. And there won't be any repeats in dialogue. And if you run and trip, the clothes that hit the dirt will be dirty. And if you die their won't be a game over. You'll continue on either with your partner, or another character. The enemies in the game will all behave differently, depending on the character, location, and weather. And no enemy will look alike. The enemies will range from animals, to humans, and other objects. The weapons in this game our only limited to your imagination, to some degree. Use a rock if you want, or a tree branch, wrench, or even a knife. The guns in this game will be different, you鈥檒l be able to run and shoot, but the character will stumble or the controller will vibrate, since it is really hard to run and shoot at the same time. There will be instances were you can slit an enemies throat, or use the environment to take out your foes. There will be minimal music in the game. The rain will make noise, and where you step. The game will last to about 10-15 hours depending on how you play the game. And once you beat the game, you get unlockables, such as new scenarios, costumes, or even weapons. There will be online play, for certain modes. One is if you are the brother and sister, you can play with someone else. One unique thing though is you can change your voice to the characters if you wanted to. There will also be an online mode where you'll be pitted against several enemies and survive as long as you can. I will be pitching this game to, Nibris, the makers of Sadness, and children of the night, and I will also be pitching to Capcom. I am open to suggestions, and I would love to hear your feedback.

Plot wise, it may be interesting if there were certain points where certain characters HAD to die or be left behind. Like, maybe the brother/sister is wounded and there's no way for them to continue.
It sounds like a pretty solid fusion of Alone in the Dark and Siren: Blood Curse/RE4/5 to me.
But, on the downside, you're looking at a MASSIVE work load for that game-that much detail would make making that game take a very, very long time.
But it sounds like something I would buy. RE5 lovers would soak this up as well.
Just thought of a suggestion: To make it more appealing to the huge mass of shooter lovers, you could, story wise, follow maybe a police/military squad. You probably thought of this, but each characters should improve logically. The brother might be able to swing a pipe harder and faster than his sister, but the mechanic should be stronger than both. With the military/police, they should be more proficient firearms and other conventional weaponry.
As long as you keep a pretty good plot with this, it could turn out really good.

you seem to be incorporating everything good about videogames but i think you will find that not all those things will fit without a large budget. and its gotta be on ps3 or xbox to fix that much memory. very nice concept tho. its kinda like alan wake. one thing tho wont it be hard to be constantly adjusting the view while fighting and interacting.

well, assuming from your picture that you are a guy...can you hit the notes in your falsetto? That's the first step. Then try to bring up your regular voice carefully and slowly with warmups. Getting a good voice teacher would definitely help too.

Ok, so my phone has 3 voicemails on it and I know my password but whenever I try to put it in it says: %26quot;Please enter your password or if you have entered the wrong password please press star%26quot;. I did not change my password, im sure of that. I called customer sercive and 611 but customer service couldnt help me and when I pressed 2 (the # to change your voice mail password on the menu) it acts like I didnt press anything. Please help or tell me if you have had the same problem and how you fixed it.

I work customer serv for vzw and customers are always calling in and needing help w/ this. I'm sure if you turn on DTMF tones, then you will be able to access your voicemail. The wound opened while I was sleeping and I slept for a while with the blood oozing down into my stomach. I woke up and began vomiting uncontrollably- all dark brownish-red blood. I had to keep my mouth open because of the great volume of blood dripping out of my mouth. Fell asleep in the ambulance- woke up and vomited even more blood, this time some had coagulated into gigantic clots. Solution? Cauterization. Doc lit a big %26quot;match%26quot; and burned the back of my throat shut with it. Terrible.

im 15 and getting my tonsils removed this friday (5/11/10) and ive heard real bad things about getting your tonsils removed. also i forget what its called but im also getting a lil flap of skin removed from my nose to allow me to breath easily. anyway i would also like a list of food i can eat. and does your voice change after the surgery?

No, no, no. it's not painful at all. i got my tonsils removed five years ago, when i nine. it kinda felt weird after the operation, though. kind of like a harsh, numb feeling. but it wasn't to bad. and i had to eat icecream for like a week :D. the best things to eat after your operation are easy-to-swallow things, preferably cold, like icecream, and things of that nature. (:

No, no, no. it's not painful at all. i got my tonsils removed five years ago, when i nine. it kinda felt weird after the operation, though. kind of like a harsh, numb feeling. but it wasn't to bad. and i had to eat icecream for like a week :D. the best things to eat after your operation are easy-to-swallow things, preferably cold, like icecream, and things of that nature. (:

sorry hun but you are a bit too young...i know im not one to talk because im getting my lip pierced, but im 14 u should wait a couple years before you do that, and as young as you are having your tongue pierced adults and teachers may look at you the wrong way and give you a really hard time trust me i know this for a fact! and getting your tongue pierced doesnt hurt because you dont have nerve endings in the middle of your tongue they are on the outter tongue...but it does swell up for a little while...it does change ur voice a little when its swollen. you should go to a professional because if its pierced wrong it can be a hassel and could also be infected so u have to be very careful! good luck(and like i said wait a couple years befor doing that)

Going to a reputable piercer is very important as they will clean all their equipment with an autoclave and keep a clean work area, as well as give you good advice on care of your piercing.

can you get surgery to change your voice so that you can sing well ? im not allowed to take singing lessons because my sister is already taking them and i have too many caricular activities. i was wondering if you can get it and i dont care if my voice changes too because i wouldnt mind that. if you can were can you go to get it done and how much does it cost? what are the risks? is there any other things i can do to improve my singing? my main question is about the surgery.

It takes a bit of gettin' use to, but once you do, you'll luv it.
Record (with headset/mic) your voice in Audacity, then play around with the tempo, speed, etc. (in 'Effects' I think) to get it like you want.
Don't forget to save the file as well as the recording itself, so you can have the exact same settings so your next recording is identical to the first.
Freeware.

I don't have the actual numbers, as it varies, but on average people who rob a bank (without a weapon) spend much more time in prison than do child molesters and kidnappers. Do you remember the California case of Steven Stayner? The man kept Steven from the time he was 7 until he was 14. He also abducted Timmy. They were rescued after Timmy's abduction. The man accused of the crime only spent 5 years in jail. He's back in prison for trying to buy a 4 year old boy for $500 This tells me that our laws protect our money more than our children. Recently, Shawn Hornbeck was found in the apartment of Michael Devlin. Michael has been accused of abducting Shawn over 4 years ago. They found Shawn after Michael had kidnapped Ben Ownby. Authorities believe there have been other children abducted by Devlin -still missing Attorneys are currently working on the case. How long will he spend in jail? My answer -Not Long Enough!
Something needs to be done to get these predators off the street. Please do something about this problem. Use your emotions, your heart, and your voice to put these thoughts in the minds of others who are in position to change the law. Put sexual predators and abductors behind bars for life. What is more important to you? Money or Children?

I sing on key and everything, but lately it's been harder to sing, it wears me out, and it doesn't have that nice sound.
It irritates and annoys me.

I have not been very well this week and what a blessing the internet is. I ordered groceries on line and had them delivered.
E-mailed all my friends and had lots of replies.
I couldn't use the phone because I lost my voice.
I wondered what benefits others found, they must be numerous.

I knew from the first time I got online that it was a life altering experience. That was back when it was all free and it took hours and sometimes days to get online and once you got there you prayed that you didn't get booted off. That was before the dawn of IM's but there were ways to talk to people and meet people from around the globe. I can honestly say I prefer today's internet. It has been my lifeline. I pay bills, talk to friends and family and just learn so much from different web sites that I would have otherwise not been able to get the information from my local library.
One question before I go to bed, How did the Internet change your life ?
Years ago I was agoraphobic, and it kept me in touch with the universe :)
It answers all the questions I'm too embarassed to ask anyone else!
It has connected me to people all around the world. Made me dream of places I have never been. It has also made me lazy. You can pay your bills on line. So no need for stamps or mail anymore. You dont need to buy a newspaper anymore becasue its provided for you. You can look for a job on the net.
it gave me info , so i could take on the powers that be and i have not booked a bad holiday since
I ended up with my wonderful boyfriend thru the internet. I worked with him and got my internet in and he started e-mailing me and we've been together a year and just bought a house together.
Now I wear very strong glasses, have repetitive strain injury, very little patience, insomnia and talk in short almost unintelligible sentences, other than that can't say its changed my life at all...
Like many of the others, I, too, do a lot of shopping on the Internet, keep in touch with friends and family. It's a great way to get information, news, and make new friends, too. I have never played so many on-line games before, and I've learnt so much about many different things.
But the down side is, I always go to bed late. There is always something to do when the computer is switched on! : )
