Helium Voice?

How do you change your voice with the ballon like u surpose to suck it in to ur lungs like how u smoke?
Helium Voice?
The physics behind the helium voice is that helium is lighter than air, so when you breathe it in and then expel it while talking, the helium picks up the vibrations from your vocal cords. Since helium is lighter than air, the cords will vibrate the helium faster than they would normal air. This results in the higher pitched sound that your voice will take on.

There are also gases that are heavier than air, and you can store them in a tank with an open lid because the air on top forces it to stay in the tank. If you lean over and speak after breathing in the gas then your voice will deepen and become slower.

It's a fun little project for science classes, just don't breath in anything toxic. That would put a quick end to all the fun.
Helium Voice?
yes, just inhail it and start talking... it doesn't last long and its funny as heck!
Not quite the same as the way one smokes. What you do is let out all your breath and then inhale from the opening of the balloon. You don't want to allow any regular air to get into your lungs if possible, just the helium from the balloon. Then, without taking another breath, talk. Your voice will sound like Mickey Mouse, very high and funny. As far as I know helium won't hurt you. Once you take a breath of regular air, your voice immediately goes back to normal. It's lots of fun and guaranteed will make you laugh a LOT!
